Red Wing Public Schools Budget Community Forum

Red Wing Public School invites community members to provide insight and feedback tonight as the district anticipates $2.3 million or more in reductions.

The district will hold a Community Forum 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Red Wing High School.

Leaders hopes to gather input from staff, parents, students, and community members alike.

The forum will provide an opportunity for open dialogue and collaboration on budget reduction strategies. Attendees can expect an overview of the budget, followed by small group discussions.

Following the forum, the district will then finalize recommended cuts to the board. Chair Jim Bryant said it's possible he will call a special meeting for April 29.

Community members also may provide feedback electronically.

The survey will close at 4 p.m. Wednesday and the link to the online survey at https://www.q-mediagroup.com/localnews.
