The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) has awarded $1 million in Launch Minnesota Education Grants to eight entrepreneurial support organizations statewide, including one in Red Wing, to become Launch Minnesota Network hub leaders.
The Network, alongside more than 120 program partners, spearhead regional efforts to help entrepreneurs access available resources.
Organizations receiving Education Grant funding include Red Wing Ignite for their E1 Entrepreneurs First program. Â Â
Red Wing Ignite created E1 (Entrepreneurs First), to enhance regional connectivity among builders and stakeholders in 11 counties within southeastern Minnesota, including Goodhue and Wabasha counties, over a 3-year period.Â
The Launch Minnesota Network is organized in a hub-and-spoke model that allows each region to customize its offerings while still enabling entrepreneurs to access statewide resources and best practices.
