Red Wing High School Fall Play

Greg Taylor

Imagine if the princess’s troublesome pea had been a bowling ball. What if the wolf had encountered Little Red Running Shorts instead of that girl in a hood?

Everything from Chicken Little to the Gingerbread Man gets a makeover when Red Wing High School students stage “The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales.” The children’s play by John Glore is based on the book by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith.

Show times are 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, and 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in the Little Theatre. Adult tickets are $5; students enter free.

Prior to staging the play for the general public, students will open their final dress rehearsal to first grade classes at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, October  10th.

RWHS Performing Arts adviser Demi Brunkhorst encourages the community to come and support our students, especially the seniors. All the cast members have worked very hard to bring the play to life.
