The Red Wing High School theater program will stage their fall production "Macbeth Goes to Hollywood" this week.
Show times are 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, in the Little Theatre. Adult tickets are $5; students enter free.
The plot revolves around William Shakespeare's modern-day agent, who has optioned "Macbeth" to a Hollywood producer who wants a "few" changes to make the play more contemporary.
The producer isn't sure what changes exactly should be made, so the classic drama gets murdered as singers ranging from country to rock try out as the three witches. The casting only gets crazier as the scenes unfold.
The cast is under the direction of teachers Tim Bowes and Jeff Chalmers.
