Several SE Minnesota towns along the Mississippi River will have an opportunity to see a very unique travelling circus over the next week.
FLOTSAM! River Circus is a troupe of musicians, circus artists, and puppeteers traveling on a handmade raft, giving free kid-friendly performances in riverfront towns along the way.
Flotsam River Circus is giving more than 30 free performances in river towns across five states and their 2023 Mississippi River Tour kicks off Monday, August 7th at Levee Park in Hastings at 6 pm.
Tuesday, August 8th, the floating circus will be at Levee Park in Red Wing from 6 pm to around 7:30 pm and from there they travel down the river to Ohuta Park in Lake City for a 6 pm show.
The performances are FREE, but donations are much appreciated.
