After being a recipient of a First Time Events Grant, Dave Farrar is organizing the Fall Kickoff Block Party in downtown Red Wing on Friday 9th from 5-8 pm.
3rd Street between East Ave and Bush Street will be closed off and Farrar say it’s been a real collaborative event.
There will be food trucks, DJ’s providing music, arts and crafts, kids activities, and more.
Farrar says another big highlight – Paul Allen, the radio voice of the Vikings will be giving an inspirational message at the event.
Many downtown businesses will be stay open late for the Block Party.
The First Time Events Grant is a collaboration among the churches of Red Wing, Downtown Main Street, and the Red Wing Port Authority.
