Red Wing ELC 55th Anniversary

The Red Wing Environmental Learning Center’s 55th Anniversary Weekend is this Friday and Saturday.

The Friday celebration of alumni, board members (past and present), parents, sponsors, and all who feel a connection to the ELC, will be held at the ELC, 442 Guernsey Lane.

Executive Director, Jason Jech, says there will be activities for all ages, including a special evening of stories and shared experiences on Friday.

Saturday’s events includes a Canoe, kayak or paddleboat Flotilla from 10 am – 1 pm, a free hike out to theHay Creek Cabin from 1- 4 pm and an evening celebration from 4-6 pm at Colvill Park.

Tickets must be purchased ahead of the event and are $25 each for the three main events.

Deadline to purchase tickets is Friday and space is limited.
