Red Wing Downtown Parking Changes

Parking hours in Red Wing are changing downtown to provide more consistency and clarity for everyone.
The Red Wing City Council approved the policy Tuesday night, which covers just the downtown area.
Almost all downtown spaces will be 3-hour spots. (That's one hour longer than most spaces now.)
15-minute spaces will be located at the end of each block, with extra spots available on long blocks. Accessible parking spaces remain the same.
Parking enforcement will start in mid-June, beginning with "warning tickets" given out for a short time period. Official tickets will follow in early July.
If you park more than three hours each day downtown, experiment with which free 20-hour parking option is right for you. There are three ramps and three lots to choose from.
To see a map of downtown parking times and a list of the free public lots, visit the City's webpage, https://www.redwingmn.gov/.
The City will provide more communication, signs, and maps soon.
