The City of Red Wing conducted a community wide phone survey in September and the results have been tabulated and are now posted on the City’s website.
Michelle Leise, Community Engagement Facilitator, says the 400 residents in Red Wing received a call were chosen by a method which took into account demographics of Red Wing’s overall population.
Leise says the survey showed high marks in community characteristics such as parks and open spaces, dining options, and small retail options but opportunities for improvement in several areas, including, mental health care, affordable health care, and more activities for youth.
