Red Wing City Council’s Annual Spring Tour

The Red Wing City Council’s annual spring tour to look at upcoming construction sites and to review previous or ongoing construction sites is this weekend.

The tour will leave City Hall Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and return to City Hall around 7:15 p.m.

This years Spring tour stops include Colvill Park Pickleball Courts for the council to view the pickleball courts that opened in October, 2024.

The bus will drive by the future Riverfront Trail Eastern Connection site at the start of Nymphara Lane. 

Saturday’s fourth Stop will be the Riverfront Trail Western Connection. The bus will drive by the parking lot of He Mni Can/Barn Bluff Trail Head at the end of East 5th Street to view the trailhead site.

The bus will stop at the Wastewater Treatment Plant to receive a tour of the facility and a progress report on the facility study from Bolton and Menk. 

The final stop will be a drive by East 4th & Sanderson Street to discuss the proposed reconstruction.
