The primary election Tuesday, August 9th includes several positions open for the Red Wing City Council.
For Ward 4, the primary is between Vicki Jo Lambert, Stanley Nerhaugen II, and Ted Seifert.
Council Member At Large primary candidates are Janie Farrar, Chad Kono, and Ralph Rauterkus.
There will also be a Special Election for Ward 2 between Donald Kliewer, and MinMartin Oakes.
In the general election November, Council Member Wards 1 & 2 candidates are Ron Goggin and Dean Hove. Current Ward 3 Council member Becky Norton is unopposed. The absentee voting deadline the Tuesday, August 9 primary and special elections is Monday August 8 (today).
Absentee voting for the November 8 state general election is September 23-November 7.
