Last week the Red Wing City Council welcomed three new members and one council member who was re-elected.
Ron Goggin, Vicki Jo Lambert, Janie Farrar, and Becky Norton were sworn in.
Outgoing council members are Dean Hove, Erin Buss, and Laurel Stinson, each giving remarks before leaving their council seats.
Buss thanked city staff and the community for support during her time on the council.
Stinson pointed out the important work people who volunteer for city appointments do to make Red Wing great.
Hove said the community has changed for the better during his long tenure on the council.
The Red Wing City Council meets tonight in regular session at City Hall at 6 pm.
Among the agenda items, consider actions regarding public art in the city and a motion to approve a conditional use permit to allow a multiple family residential use at 222 Bush Street. Red Wing Development has applied for the permit to redevelop the property for 28-32 residential units and about 1,500 square feet of retail use on the main level.
