The Red Cross is urging Minnesotans to donate blood to offset a nationwide shortage, blood donations are at a 2 decade year low and that their inventory of available blood has reached critically low levels.
In Red Wing, upcoming opportunities this week to give blood include: today, from 9 am – 3 pm at the Seminary Professional Building-Mayo Clinic Health System, 906 College Avenue.
Wednesday, from 9 am – 3 pm there will be a blood drive at the Red Wing Armory Minnesota Guard, 885 East 7th Street.
