Plainview’s Elevated Water Tower

Workers with Maguire Iron, Inc., of Sioux Falls, S.D., has been doing site work and underground utility installation 4 for Plainview’s 100,000-gallon elevated water tower (Well No. 3 Air Entrainment).

The Plainview News reports construction activities will continue onsite and in the fabrication shop throughout the 2026 construction season, with final project completion anticipated in the summer of 2027.

And workers with Tankez Coatings, Inc., of Fort Worth, Texas, have completed most of the existing paint removal on the interior and exterior of the existing 500,000-gallon water tower.

Having completed sand-blasting and priming, the contractor has transitioned to the new tower coatings.

The project should be completed by the end of June.
