Plainview's Community of Treasures

The community is invited to Plainview's Community of Treasures on Saturday, October 12th at 240 First Street SW (Across the street from Bennett's Food Center).

The craft and vendor fair will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

According to the Plainview News, there will be 30 vendor spaces set up for the entire day, creating a unique community shopping experience that perfectly complements the charm of shops on West Broadway.

The October show brings an all-time favorite and personable business owner from Big Lake, Minnesota, known to Plainview as Jonathan Hopkins.

In 2022, Hopkins spotted the city of Plainview hosting a craft and vendor fair during the hometown celebration of Corn on the Cob Days. He brought with him Minnesota State Fair Winners "Prairie Home Kitchens." Prairie Home Kitchens has a delightful taste of BBQ sauces, salsa, hot sauces, ketchup, Bloody Mary mix, seasonings, and the family's signature raspberry jam.

Plainview's Community of Treasures coordinator, Penny Hoekstra, there will be signage around town.

Also, save the date for Plainview's Community of Holiday Treasures in conjunction with Plainview's Old Fashioned Christmas celebrations on December 6 & 7.
