Plainview Lights for Life Luminaries

The Lights for Life Luminaries will be on display in local business windows in Plainview along West Broadway and Third Street Southwest in connection with the annual Olde-Fashioned Christmas festivities this year, on Saturday, December 6th.

As with prior years, each luminary bag can be decorated in honor of those loved ones who have been affected by cancer. Luminaries can be purchased or you may donate your contribution.   

This year the Plainview Lions Club has identi­fed two different organizations dedicated to supporting the needs of cancer patients and their families, the Lions Club International Foundation Childhood Cancer and the American Cancer Society.

The Plainview News reports luminary bags are available for purchase at Foresight Bank, Peoples State Bank, Edward Jones Financial, Erin’s Touch of Style, Bella Salon, AgPartners and local area churches.

Please return the decorated bag to any of these locations by Tuesday, November 25th.

Each decorated bag will be hung at local stores along West Broadway and Third Street Southwest through the month of December.
