Plainview Cleanup & Assistance

A spring cleanup for Plainview residents is coming up Saturday from 9 am to 11 am at Plainview’s Public Works building, 230 10th St. SW.

Items to be accepted include tires, furniture, appliances, electronics and scrap metal. Yard waste, garbage, and demolition materials will not be accepted.

Cash or check payment only, no credit or debit cards.

The Plainview Volunteer Team is available for pick-up assistance. Items must be on the Plainview Public Works pricing list.

To register, call the Plainview Library, 507-534-3425 between 10 am and 7 pm TODAY in order to qualify. They need name, phone #, address, general description of items and where they will be located.

The library will call you back Friday to confirm details. Your PVL team will arrive between 8:45 am-11 am and load and transport items to Public Works.

A library staffer will return with a total. Payment must be made by check and the staffer will deliver your check to Public Works.
