Plainview Area Community & Youth Center has some big news.

Their director for the last 13 years, Cindy Rettmann, has decided it’s time to retire.

From holiday meals and the Festival of Trees, to summer concerts and morning coffee chats, she has helped many community members make fond memories over the last decade +.

There will be a retirement party for Cindy this Saturday from 11:30 am – 4 pm at the Center, there will be a Sloppy Joe lunch.

The second big announcement, the new director as voted on by the board is Angela Kedrowski.

She says she’s very excited for this opportunity to serve the community in this role and looks forward to maintaining the programs and activities they already have, as well as adding new ones that will bring even more people into the Plainview Area Community & Youth Center.
