New Red Wing Bridge Named

Red Wing Riverview Skyway is the name of the new bike-pedestrian bridge between the West End District and Bay Point Park.

The name came from options through the Arts & Culture Commission, and Monday night, the Red Wing City Council approved the final title. The name recognizes the bridge’s location and role in connecting the community.

The main bridge structure will be installed by crane on August 31st, and the final project will be complete later this fall.
