The National Eagle Center On The River cruises are back and continue through October.
Cruises are experienced aboard Winona State University’s Cal Fremling tour boat and begin at 2 pm at a pre-determined meeting location in Winona. Cruises conclude around 4 pm.
Ed Hahn, Director of Marketing and Communications, says the cruises provide you with a unique floating classroom experience and the opportunity to view Bald Eagles and other native wildlife.
Cruises are guided by Eagle Center expert naturalists and give you plenty of opportunities to learn about eagle biology and behavior and the wide variety of birds, fish, and wildlife that you will observe and encounter.
Cruises scheduled for June 24th and 25th are currently planned to board in Wabasha.
