National Eagle Center Bald Eagle Day

The National Eagle Center in Wabasha is preparing to celebrate a very special Bald Eagle Day this month.

 2026 marks the 250th Anniversary of the United States, and on Saturday, June 20, the public is invited to Wabasha to celebrate this milestone with our iconic National Bird and living National Symbol - the Bald Eagle.

The festivities will kick-off with a flag-raising ceremony conducted by Wabasha’s American Legion Post #50 and VFW Post #4068, followed immediately by short comments from invited dignitaries in the Riverfront Amphitheater.

Live eagle programs at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the Riverfront Amphitheater will be free and open to the public.

There will be special programming and events, including kids activities, lawn games, free Dilly Bars from Dairy Queen and walking tacos from the Wabasha Lion’s Club.

While the public eagle programs will be FREE to attend, general admission to the Center applys. $14 for adults (ages 16 and up), $12 for seniors (65+), $10 for youth (5-15), US veterans, children ages 4 and under and National Eagle Center members enjoy FREE admission.
