MSC Southeast the FAFSA Completion Event

College and university students are invited to the FAFSA Completion Event, which will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 (3-6 pm) at Minnesota State College Southeast, 1250 Homer Road, in Winona.

The event from 3-6 pm is sponsored by College Possible and LeadMN and will be held in the Academic Support Center, enter in door H or J.

Tracy Rahim, Southeast’s Student Life Coordinator, says the event is designed to help any Winona-area student complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, which colleges and universities use to determine how much financial assistance they’ll offer to a student. 

At the event, students can work one-on-one with an advisor from College Possible to complete the FAFSA.

Free sandwiches, chips, and beverages will be available for the first 50 people who attend, plus $25 gift cards will be given to students who complete their FAFSA at the event!

Students should create a FSA username and password event at FAFSA.gov three days prior to the FAFSA Completion Event.
