The annual Millville Valley River Days Celebration in Millville kicks off today and runs through Sunday.
Some highlights today (Friday) include the Crowning of the King and Queen and the Crowning of the Junior King and Queen at 6:00 PM Bed Races will take place on Main Street.
The weekend has something for everyone.
Saturday’s events include Medalion Hunt Clues at 8:00 AM, a Classic Car Show in City Park from 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM, Canoe/Kayak Races, Music by Doc DJ on Main Street from 11:00 – 4:00, and Garden Tractor Pulls at 3:00 PM.
Sunday features Chicken BBQ at the Legion, Bar Olympics at Whiskey Dicks at 1:00 with signups at 12:30. Kid’s Pedal Tractor Pull at 3:00 PM and Rhythm Playboys playing from 2:30 – 6:00 PM with free admission.
From 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm it’s music by Show me your Hits with a $10 entrance fee.
