Millville’s big summer celebration, the Millville Valley River Days, is scheduled for Friday through Sunday.
Visitors can enjoy food, a wide variety of events, and live music, in celebration of the city’s 155th anniversary.
Friday’s schedule includes the crowning of the Millvillle King and Queen and the Junior Kings and Queens at 5 p.m.; a horseshoe tournament at 5:30 p.m.; Bed Races at 6 p.m and ‑ fireworks at dusk.
Saturday’s schedule includes a medallion hunt at 8 a.m. at Whiskey Dick’s; a men’s softball tournament at 9 a.m. at the ball field; a Classic Car Show from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in City Park; music by the Rockin’ Hepcats from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in City Park; kayak races (on the Zumbro River from Hammond to Millville) at 11 a.m.; a bean bag tournament at 11 a.m. on Division Street.
Other highlights include FREE kids activities, bean bag tournaments, live music EVERY day, Duck races and much more.
