Merchants Bank celebrates its 150th anniversary on Thursday, July 17th.
Founded in the river town of Winona, Minnesota in the summer of 1875 by a group of like-minded businesspeople, Merchants Bank now proudly serves over 20 communities in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
It joined the Cannon Falls community in 2007 through the acquisition of a First National Bank location.
The Cannon Falls branch is holding an appreciation event on Tuesday, July 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to celebrate the Bank’s milestone.
This event serves as a means to express gratitude for the community and local partners whose contributions have played a crucial role in the rich history of the Bank.
