This year’s annual Mazeppa Daze kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday.
Friday highlights include, the 7 PM parade, a Street Dance from 8:30 to 12:30, and Friday night is capped off by small display of Fireworks at dusk.
Saturday starts off with a Pancake breakfast at 6 AM, followed by Softball and Volleyball tournaments at 8. At 9:30 a 5k Fun Run will take place followed by the Lawn Tractor Pull from 10 AM – 2 PM. Laser tag and Kids games will take place from 11 Am – 3 PM with Duck races at 2:00 and Bingo at 2:45. From 4-8 PM, the Smokin’ Coyotes will play their set followed by a larger fireworks display at dusk, followed by a drawing for a golf cart.
Sunday kicks off with a Softball tourney followed by the Tractor Pull at 10 and Water Fights in the Fire Hall at 11.
The day ends with a Classic Car Show presented by The Lions as well as the Fire Department.
The Field of Honor is held by the Mazeppa Honor Guard all weekend, with the opening ceremony starting on Thursday, July 11, at 7 PM in Jaycee Park.
On Sunday there will be Rain out Sunday Night Fireworks.
