Lake Pepin Legacy Alliance currently has an open call for a project focused on the Mississippi River and its restoration.
Artists and curators are invited to submit a proposal for participatory work focusing on this theme that will be installed and/or performed on the shore of the river adjacent to their river restoration project in Bay City.
This Restoration installation is intended to make legible the magic and vitality of the Mississippi River through stewardship and connection. The installation will be up for one month between May and June, 2023.
Artists will be asked to facilitate as part of their work at least one community activity that highlights participation and the work supporting Lake Pepin Legacy Alliance’s mission to restore the natural and ecological heritage of the lake. Applications due January 10.
