The search for a new Lake City Superintendent of Schools is moving forward.
The school board has narrowed the superintendent search to three names after conducting the first round of interview Tuesday and Wednesday.
The finalists are:
Craig Junker – President of Totino-Grace High School in Fridley
Craig Ihrke – present superintendent of Caledonia Schools
Ariana Wright – Principal of Kasson-Mantorville Schools
The school board will meet at 4 pm on Thursday, March 30th to conduct reference checks and hold a second round of interviews. The board will select the lone finalist and set the negotiation process.
On April 4, the board will meet at 6:30 am to approve an employment contract and the new Superintendent will report to work on July 1st.
Current Superintendent Erick Enger is retiring at the end of the school year, June 30th.
