Lake City Superintendent of Schools Erick Enger is retiring at the end of the school year, June 30th.
Enger says the process to find his successor is well underway. The School Board met Thursday to review and select candidates.
The search process included an anonymous public survey available for all stakeholders to fill out in January.
Enger says he has truly enjoyed his nine years as Lake City Public Superintendent.
