The Lake City Kiwanis Club has teamed up with community partners for a challenge to raise money for the Lake City Packing for the Weekend program, which provides food for the weekend for school children in the Lake City school district.
Club President, Andru Peters, says they set a lofty goal and they hope to reach it by Tuesday, January 25th.
Peters says it’s easy to donate at Lake City Fresh Market, formerly Fiesta Foods.
