Lake City Johnny Appleseed Day

The community is invited to celebrate the apple harvest at Johnny Appleseed Day this Saturday, part of Fall Fest.

This year’s event will happen in downtown Lake City on Washington Street.

Heather Thomas, Executive Director of the Lake City Chamber of Commerce says they have teamed up with the Lake City Historical Society for some fun events, including a historical walking tour.

Thomas says Saturday will be full of live music, dozens of artists, crafters, vendors, food trucks, beverages, kids activities, wagon rides, Fresh Market Pie Eating Contest and other family friendly fun. 

The 3rd Annual Beer and Cider Fest is a ticket event and will be held Saturday from 1 pm-3pm.
