People and pooches will be happy to hear the city dog park project in Lake City is moving forward.
Lake City Mayor Mark Nichols says it will be a large space on 10th street, next to the Police Station, and right now they are deciding on which type of fencing to use.
Nichols says he knows the dog park will be a popular place for pets and their owners.
Nichols says Red Wings dog park at Upper A.P. Anderson Park is an example of how popular they have become.
