Kylie Griffin AAO Candidate

Kylie Griffin from Red Wing will be participating in the Minneapolis Aquatennial Ambassador Organization Candidate Program from July 22 to July 28^th.

Kylie was a 2023 Red Wing Ambassador.

There are 44 candidates this year and one young woman will be chosen to be the Queen of the Lakes, and two women will be chosen as Princesses.

The Aquatennial Ambassador Organization is a dynamic development organization that inspires young Minnesota women to achieve extraordinary futures by creating opportunities through work with their communities and AAO.

Candidates are chosen for their public speaking ability, education,

co-curricular/extracurricular activities professionalism, current and future goals, and more.

Meet the Candidates event, taking place on Wednesday, July 24 the at the

Minneapolis City Center Rotunda and the candidates will also participate in the Aquatennial Torchlight Parade that night.

The week culminates with the Coronation of the 2024 Aquatennial Ambassadors on Saturday, July 27.   

The Aquatennial Ambassadors represent the Minneapolis Aquatennial at nearly 300 community festivals and events throughout North America each year.
