Jacob Running For Senate District 20

District 20B State Rep. Steve Jacob (R-Altura) has announced that he will seek the Senate District 20 seat in 2026.

Senator Steve Drazkowski (R–Mazeppa) has announced he will not seek re-election to the Minnesota Senate.

District 20B includes the cities of Plainview, St. Charles and Zumbrota, and parts of Wabasha, Winona, Olmsted, and Goodhue counties.

Jacob serves on committees including Agriculture Finance and Policy, Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy, Human Services Finance and Policy, and Rules and Legislative Administration.
