A GoFundMe has been started for 37-year old Melissa Hunt of Wabasha who was killed on June 19th.
44-yeard old Craig Hameister, of Rochester, has since been arrested in connection to Hunt’s death, and charged with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of first-degree manslaughter. Bail has been set at 2-million dollars.
KTTC reports Melissa’s mother, Bonnie, as well as her family and friends are hoping to collect funds to give Melissa a “beautiful memorial and burial,” thus creating the GoFundMe.
They have a goal of reaching $13,000, and to this point, have collected over $11,000.
