Humane Society Awareness Campaign

Actor and animal lover Patrick John Flueger recently visited River Bluff Humane Society (RBHS) to help raise awareness about their mission to help homeless animals find their forever homes.

A Red Wing native, Flueger posed for photos with several adoptable dogs and cats. Joining him in the photo shoot was his girlfriend Reem Amara, who is a model and actress.

 Flueger stars in the NBC hit TV show “Chicago P.D.” as officer Adam Ruzek. He graduated from Red Wing High School in 2002.

Patrick and Reem’s visit to RBHS comes as the nonprofit shelter is seeing a surge in homeless cats and dogs needing help. The shelter took in a record-breaking 430 animals in 2025.
