A local non-profit organization that empowers lives affected by domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and homelessness is hosting their annual golf outing in October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Hope Coalition’s Development Coordinator, Linda Flanders, says the event is Friday, October 15th at the Jewel Golf Club in Lake City. Flanders says the event will recognize and thank First Responders and proceeds benefit HOPE Coalition outreach in Wabasha County.
Flanders says the colors people will be able to see at the Jewel is another great reason to sign up for the fun event.
The $90 entry fee for the 9 am Shotgun start includes 36 holes of golf, cart, range balls, on-course contests, prize fund, and a donation to HOPE Coalition.
There are also hole sponsorships available. Flanders says the homemade baked good sale is always popular. For more information and to register, go to https://hope-coalition.org and click on Events or go to their Facebook page.
