Hope and Harbor Homeless Shelter Donations

Hope and Harbor Homeless Shelter is open for it’s 5th season, providing shelter for adult Goodhue County residents experiencing homelessness.

Executive Director, Liz Magill, says the Shelter is open all week long during the months of November through March, rotating locations at local churches. They open daily at 6 pm and guests leave the next morning at 7:30 am and guests recieve two meals a day, access to daily showers, free laundry, and personal hygiene items.

Magill says if people would like to help they always need more volunteers, they average 500 volunteers for a season,  and local, inexpensive gift cards are a blessing.

Magill says they have been averaging about 7 guests a night and have had 21 unduplicated adults use the shelter in Novermber and December. She says the majority of people they assist have local ties.
