This year, the United States will celebrate its 250th birthday and you are invoted to join the Goodhue County Historical Society for a quarterly book club that reflects on 250 years of history and storytelling, and sparks conversations about the nation’s future.
Each meeting will focus on a different book and the first book will be What Unites Us: Reflections on Patriotism by Dan Rather and Elliot Kirschner.
Wednesday’s event from 6-7 pm is free, and participants are asked to provide their own copy of the book. Light refreshments will be served.
