Tickets are now on sale for Goodhue County Historical Society’s fall walking tours: the Back Alley Tour and Oakwood Cemetery Tour.
Tickets are $15 each and must be purchased through Red Wing Community Education.
The Back Alley Tour is Saturday, September 27th from 10 am – 11:30 am beginning at John Rich Park. Discover the early history of downtown Red Wing and learn how it’s changed.
The Oakwood Cemetery Tour is Saturday, October 4th from 10:30 – noon. Walk through the most historic sections and learn about Victorian mourning customs, tombstone symbolism and what life was like for 19th century Red Wing residents.
