Highway 60 Wabasha Bridge Crossing

Hwy 60 motorists crossing the bridge over the Mississippi River in Wabasha will see a traffic lane change beginning Monday, October 25, as crews switch sides to continue painting the bridge, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation

The Hwy 60 Wabasha bridge has had lane closures, mainly in the eastbound lane, since May 17 while crews replaced expansion joints and painted the east of the bridge.

On Monday, the closure will switch to the westbound lane and crews will finish replacing expansion joints and paint the west side of the bridge.

The Hwy 60 bridge will continue to remain open with only one lane during the project. Traffic signals are being used to direct motorists through the project in a single lane.

Estimated project completion is the end of November. Height and width restrictions are in place for the crossing during the project.
