Highway 50 Road Closures

MnDOT will be repaving Hwy 50 to provide a smoother road surface, update drainage, improve safety by adding a right turn lane in Hampton Township, and improving accessibility by adding a pedestrian ramp and sidewalk in New Trier.
This project is in coordination with the City of Hampton and the City of New Trier.
Work is scheduled to begin at 6 am today through late August.
Hwy 50 is closed in both directions between Hwy 52 and Hwy 61.
Access to local businesses and residences will be maintained
Eastbound detour to downtown New Trier: Hwy 52 to Co. Rd. 29/Rochester Blvd. to Hogan Ave.
Westbound detour to downtown New Trier: Hwy 20 to Co. Rd. 29 to Hogan Ave.
