Highway 42 Traffic Fatality

The Minnesota State Patrol reports the crash that shut down a portion of Highway 42 in Wabasha County Tuesday just before noon resulted in a fatality.

52-year-old Craig Allen Goring of North Branch, Michigan, was driving a semi-truck north on Highway 42 about 4 ½ miles southwest of the junction of Highway 42 and Highway 61 near Kellogg and about 8 miles northeast of Plainview, when it left the roadway and rolled.

He was pronounced dead at the scene according to the report.

The highway closure ended around 5:20 pm Tuesday.
