Boys Basketball Section 1AA Quarterfinals at Rochester Mayo Civic Center Arena:

Goodhue 86 Lake City 57-The top seeded Wildcats rolled to the win over the 8th seeded Tigers.

Goodhue led 36-21 at the half and steadily pulled away in the second half for the win. It was Goodhue's third win of the season over Lake City. The first two games in the regular season were much closer with Goodhue winning by three points and then seven points.

Alex Loos led Goodhue with 34 points while Luke Roschen added 21 and Cody Ryan 14. Gavyn Lorsenson led Lake City with 30 points.

Lake City ends the year at 14-13. Goodhue is 27-1 and face #5 seed Triton (25-4) in the Section 1AA Semi-Finals Saturday at 11am from the Mayo Civic Auditorium on KWNG 106.

Triton topped Rushford-Peterson 84-76 in the second game last night as Pierce Petersohn poured in 39 points for the Cobras.
