Lake City 63 La Crescent 49-Ryan Heise had 23 points and Hunter Lorenson 22 to lead the 19-1 Tigers to the road win. Lorenson went over the 1000 point mark for his career in his junior season. Lorenson is the sixth Tigers boys basketball player in the last eight years to hit the 1000 point marl and the 11th overall in svhool history.
Northfield 75 Red Wing 62-The Wingers played well on the road against a Northfield team tied for fist in the Big 9 but the hot shooting Raiders pulled away in the second half for the win.
Sam Scherer had 29 points (including eight three pointers) and Soren Richardson added 19. Reid Hartmann had 21 points to lead the Wingers with Mitch Seeley and Christiaan Koehler chipping in with 11 points apiece and Eli Boeding added 10 points.
Northfield is 13-5 overall and 11-3 in the Big 9. Red Wing is 1-16 and 0-14 in the Big 9.
