MSHSL State Tourney Changes!

The Minnesota State High School League's Board of Directors met yesterday and changes are on the way for a number of state tournaments for the 2026-27 school year.

The Girls and Boys State Cross Country Meet will be held November 7th at Majestic Oaks Golf Course in Ham Lake. The past three state meets were held at the Les Bolstad University of Minnesota Golf Course. The University of Minnesota sold the land with the deal being finalized in late June which led to the change in venue.

The 2027 Girls and Boys State Basketball Tournaments have been pushed back as well and again the University of Minnesota was the reason. Williams Arena was booked for the NCAA women's tournament March 17-20, 2027...a similar scenario to March of 2026.

The Girls State Tournament will now be March 24-27, 2027 with the Boys State Tournament March 31-April 3, 2027.

Girls Tennis October 27-30

Girls Soccer October 27-29, November 4-7

Girls Volleyball November 11-14

Girls Swim & Dive November 18-20

Football November 12-14, 19-21, 27-28

Winter:

Girls Hockey February 24-27

Wrestling March 3-6

Boys Swim & Dive March 4-6

Boys Hockey March 10-13
