Goodhue Police Department Resignations

The City of Goodhue has called an emergency meeting Monday at 7 pm at City Hall to address the sudden resignation of several Police officers following Goodhue Police Chief Josh Smith, who resigned following a City Council meeting Wednesday.

The meeting agenda has listed “Police Hiring” with looking at pay increases for officers and evaluating the current status of the department after the mass resignations as well as a discussion concerning Chief Smith and the other officers who quit.
