The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office has been getting multiple reports from people who are being contacted by scammers who are claiming to work for the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office.
While there may be times when a Deputy does call you, a Deputy will NEVER Call you and ask for money to clear up a warrant.
If you receive a call from someone claiming to be a Law Enforcement Officer (of any kind) and you are suspicious, HANG UP and call dispatch and ask to speak to that Law Enforcement Officer.
