Fernbrook Family Center, based in Owatonna, has announced coming this October, they will open an Adolescent Day Treatment program in Red Wing.
The program, titled IMPACT (Intensive Mental Health Program for Adolescent and Child Treatment) supports children ages 10-17. Day treatment programing is an intensive treatment option for children who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy can provide.
Prior to admission, children being considered for day treatment programs will receive a diagnostic assessment and treatment plan tailored to their individual needs.
Programming is three hours per day (8am-11am) and up to five days per week. Each day features skills and therapy groups led by mental health practitioners and therapists. Adolescent Day Treatment in Goodhue County is planning to open this October, but is now accepting referrals.
Fernbrook’s Adolescent Day Treatment will be located at 129 Hedin Avenue Suite 202 in Red Wing.
Services begin with a referral made to Fernbrook Family Center’s intake office either by phone (507-446-0431) or website (www.fernbrook.org/get-started).
