Residents of Minnesota counties covered by a federal disaster declaration are almost out of time to submit applications for financial assistance.Â
The deadline to submit the applications to FEMA is October 27th.Â
The agency is offering monetary help to individuals and businesses in 21 counties, including Goodhue and Rice counties, affected by severe storms and flooding in June and July.Â
That includes reimbursement for expenses such as temporary housing, home repairs and other disaster-related costs.Â
More information about the application process is available at FEMA-dot-gov.
